Rubén Saraza Barriga.

Rubén Saraza Barriga, born in Pichacani-Laraqueri (Puno, Peru) on January 28, 1972, completed his higher education at the Universidad Nacional del Altiplano, where he graduated as an anthropologist in 1999.

His engagement with Andean studies began in the early 1990s, especially between 1990 and 1992 in the city of Cusco, during the gathering of resistance marking 500 years of the native nations. That experience led him to deepen his exploration of the worldviews of various Indigenous peoples. On June 21, 1992, he received his first initiation into Andean spirituality alongside a circle of wise elders, beginning a path that weaves together ancestral knowledge and living spiritual experience.

An anthropologist and spiritual guide specialized in the Andean worldview and ancestral wisdom, his work brings together academic research and spiritual practice through rituals, energetic healing and life guidance. He shares Andean spiritual knowledge as a path of balance, personal transformation and reconnection with one's deeper purpose.

He is the author and co-author of the following works: Farmacopia de plantas medicinales del altiplano y radiografía del cuy (2000), Saber Sagrado (2025) and El Poder de las Wak'as (2019), as well as the digital magazine Qhapaq 56. He accompanies those seeking clarity, inner harmony and reconnection with their essence from a deep, respectful perspective rooted in ancestral Andean wisdom.
